Hey everyone! How is your week going so far? It’s finally starting to feel like spring, which is boosting my mood quite a bit.
Today I wanted to share one of my favorite snacks (especially during pregnancy): a Greek yogurt bowl with fresh fruit. This idea was inspired by a dish I had at a Mediterranean restaurant several years ago. I loved it so much, I’ve been making these at home ever since.
Greek yogurt bowls are fresh, filling, and easy to put together – I think you’ll be hooked on them, too!
▪️ In my opinion, the best yogurt bowls always start with unsweetened Greek yogurt. Sweetened yogurt (even vanilla) can take away from the flavor of the ingredients.
▪️ Next, I add my fruits – almost anything goes! Berries, bananas, melons, kiwi, and grapes are my usual choices.
▪️ I then add a few more toppings to finish it off: granola, chia seeds, walnuts, or even Perfect Bar bits are a nice way to add different textures into the mix.
▪️ For a finishing touch, don’t forget a drizzle of honey.
